This Years Cream Tea and Curry Evening
Following the success of last year’s Lunch and Curry Evening, we have decided to follow a similar pattern. However, this year we will be holding a Cream Tea on Saturday 8th October 3.00 – 4.30pm and a Curry Evening on Saturday 15th October 7.00 for 7.30pm. We will be catering for approximately 50 people at each event.
Both events will be held at Capel St. Mary Methodist Church and they will have a similar format. The same pre-recorded video where Jim and his team will give us an update on developments at Vidiyal will be shown at each.
Here are the menus we will be offering:
CREAM TEA
- A scone served with jam & cream
- A slice of Victoria sandwich
- Tea / Coffee
CURRY EVENING MENU
- Selection of five curries: Mild Chicken, Medium Chicken, Hot Chicken, Lamb Keema & Medium Roasted Vegetable with rice etc.
- Autumn fruit meringue
- Soft drinks
- Tea / Coffee and mints
If you would like to attend either of these events, please email Brenda on sturgeons71@gmail.com before Monday 12th September.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Donations to NewDawn India will be welcomed on the day.

Children watching our updates in Madurai!
Finished
What very good day!
Miles completed, total approaching £5000 and England beat Germany in the football.
Thanks to all of you who have sent messages to your sponsor children, the team in Madurai and to me.
What can we do now? I hope this will have encouraged you to be in touch with your sponsor children. A quick postcard is so appreciated.
I will keep the JustGiving page open for a while. You may have been waiting to see if I finished the task before parting with money!
I have one final piece of news for you……
