Another hard day of cycling but very encouraging news from Madurai where they have been moved out of the ‘Red Zone’ this means that some of the daily wage earners will be able to return to work. It also means that the team can plan to resume distributing the relief kits.

Tomorrow we shall arrive in Wales! A landmark day/

My adjudicator is already thinking about when we finish on June 29th and how we should mark the occasion – I admire her faith! It still feels a very long way off.

End of Day 6

Today has been tough. Blisters havent helped but we made it.

I can only say thankyou to all of you who have sent in messages for the children, encouragement for me and contributions to our total.

Day 5 Complete

An earlier finish today due to an unscheduled earlier start!

Thanks for all the message for sponsor children that have come in today. I have some for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a big day….. we make it to 300 plus miles and I am at the end of page one on my itinerary!!

Back tomorrow.

A Landmark Day

I have a few miles to go this evening but wanted to get this sent out.

I am blown away that we have passed £1000 already! Amazing generosity.

Today I have also had lots of encouraging messages from people across the country so thankyou – It certainly helps to keep my feet pedaling.

For all the effort that it is taking me to cover these miles it is nothing compared to the efforts of the staff and volunteers in Madurai who work tirelessly to support and champion the children and families they work with them.

See you tomorrow!

Hello from the end of Day 3

That was a much better day!

Amazing progress towards our £1453 target – Thanks.

Can I ask sponsors who havent sent in message to please take a moment to do so.

I have one video message waiting for when I get to Wales and one video message from Ipswich left!

I’ll be back tomorrow.

Good night
